Helloo dolls! Today's segment is going to be about makeup, how to use it, where to buy it, and what looks good.
Obviously people have different tastes in make-up, just like clothes and shoes and etc.
So I'm going to show you the do's and don'ts of some popular makeup styles.
Simple:
Simple makeup is easy to do and can be so helpful to know how much is too much or too little. If you are wanting to go with simple makeup, it should be for everyday wear, job interviews, first dates and such. Simple means; easy on the eyes and lips. Not too much bronzer or blush. And NO fake eyelashes!
Applying Simple:
When applying simple makeup, make sure that all the colors work well with you, your outfit and your skin type.
The Eyes:
On the eyes I would go with an easy earth toned color like brown, blue or a grey-green.

When thinking about Eyeliner, if you still are going for the simple look I wouldn't do anything wild or crazy with it. Go with a nice brown or black thin line to make your eyes noticable.
Mascara is always a must. For the simple look however, don't go overboard woth making sure every lash is individually painted black. Just gently brush the edges of your lashes to show they are there.
Bronzer:

| Bronzer by Estee Lauder |
When choosing a bronzer for your skin tone, take into consideration the color of the rest of you, not just what you want your face to look like. Make sure to pick a shade (one) darker than your natural skin tone. This avoids the ultra tan look of being an oompa loompa and orange.
When applying, make sure the brush you use is clean, large and soft. The brush needs to be clean so no build up of makeup ends up on your face later.
Gently dip the brush in the bronzer, then swirl the brush on the lid of the bronzer case to make sure that any excess bronzer is off.
Apply to your face evenly, cheeks, forehead, chin, nose, and over the eyes and eyebrows as well as the lips. Also put some on the bottom of your chin so shadows are even. Put some on your neck too to blend everything.
Blush:

Choose a nice coral color for simple, dip brush and apply along the cheekbones and across the nose. Then take your hand and blend the blush within the bronzer to make subtle.
Lips:
 |
| Lipgloss by Chanel |
Because the look is simple, if you have noticibly colored lips naturally, use a clear gloss just to boost it or go natural with no gloss at all.
If you do not have colored lips, choose a color that matches your blush tone well. A coral or salmon colored gloss works well.

It is recommended to use a primer on your eyelid before the eyeshadow is applied. The primer will ensure a better application of the eyeshadow and a longer stay.
It is best to use good quality eye shadows because that is the only way you will be able to create the perfect smokey eyes. Good quality eyeshadow has a better coverage and the eyeshadow can be applied easier. To create smokey eyes you will need 3 eyeshadow shades. Shimmery eyeshadow looks great on smokey eyes, but matte eyeshadow looks awesome as well.
You can use powder eyeshadow or creamy eyeshadow, depending on each person's preference.
Apply the primer to the entire eyelid and apply using a small make-up brush the lighter colored eyeshadow on the brow bone. Take the second lightest eyeshadow and apply the eyeshadow on the inner corner of the eye until about three thirds into the lid. Take the darkest colored eyeshadow and apply it on the outer corner of the eye working your way on the lid. Make sure you apply a little bit of the dark eyeshadow over the second lightest color. Blend the dark colored eyeshadow well into your crease by wiggling the brush back and forth.
Take a clean brush, a blending brush and blend the dark colored eyeshadow with the second colored eyeshadow to obtain a uniform transition from one color to the other. Apply more eyeshadow of each color if necessary.
Apply a little bit of the second lighter color eyeshadow using an angled brush on your lower lid until about half way starting from the inner corner of the eye. Apply the darker color over the outer corner of the lighter eyeshadow continuing up towards the outer corner of the eye.
Take a liquid eyeliner and draw a fine smooth line on your upper lid starting close to your lashes from the inner towards the outer corner of the eye.
